Port-au-Prince, April 4, 2018 - After launching the single and the clip «Ayibobo» last January, Mikaben has just ended the production of “MKBN» his fourth solo album which is scheduled for release May 4th. For this new LP, the artist has composed and written 18 tracks -–16 unpublished– and has produced the great majority giving this new release a Caribbean pop flavor, a perfect mix of charm and cheerfulness, with at times a touch of gravity, and on which he plays all the instruments.
For this new adventure that he wanted resolutely Caribbean, he surrounded himself with talented artists and DJs from neighboring islands, Americans and his Haitian accomplices. Admiral-T, Elephant Man and Kevin Lyttle, Easy Kennenga, Princess Eud, BelO, J-Perry, Paul Beaubrun, Richard Cavé, are amongst the renowned artists featured. The 18 Creole, French and English tracks are opening the doors to a wider market for Mikaben.
To launch the promotion of this new opus, Mikaben invited the press, industry professionals, partners and collaborators to an exclusive listening session on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, in Fubar, Pétion-Ville. Other listening sessions are scheduled in the larger cities of the country, including Saint-Marc, Gonaïves, Cap-Haitien, Port-de-Paix, Mirebalais, Miragoane, Jacmel, Les Cayes and Jeremie.
An international media tour (United States, France, Canada) is planned thereafter, as well as an inter-school competition (to entice young people towards entrepreneurship) as well as artistic evenings including album signing in May and June 2018.

Michael Benjamin aka Mikaben is an eclectic Haitian artist with a wide range of talents: singer, writer and producer. Accompanied by his guitar or with a full band, Mikaben is one of the few artists of his generation to excel in many different musical genres. Since the launch of his first song in 1999 entitled «Nwèl Tristès,» Mikaben has shown a particular sensitivity for his country. He wants to paint, through his art, a beautiful yet real image of his country. He already has over 15 years of experience on the stage and has performed on several international stages, including the Olympia of Paris with Carimi, the Zenith, Joe’s Pub in NY, the Cultural Center of Ivory Coast, the Hoogstraten Festival in Belgium, the Miami Compas Festival, and Dillon Stadium to name just a few.
